UK's LONG DISTANCE FOOTPATHS ARE BEAUTIFUL AND CHALLENGING
ENHANCED TRAIL GUIDES
This series of National Trail Guides originally began because of the lack of information the author experienced while preparing to run the Pennine Way in 1998. Since that time more books have been written and more information is available. This series of books, however, are enhanced for use with an iPad, iPhone or Mac, in such a way that:
images can be enlarged to full screen
Viewing gallaries can be looked at, again full screen, for photographs not included in the main body of the book
Dynamic Google maps showiing the whole route of the path can be viewed in the standard Google viewing formats, zooming in for greater deteail as required, all from within the book itself
An enhanced glossory can be accessed simply by clicking bold text to obtain further details and photographs of places referred to. A simple click returns you to your page
Some books contain puzzles or jigsaws relevant to that particular section of the book in which they are placed
